Internationale Online Competitie voor Beginners (Schooljeugd)
Mijn vriendin Ana Srebrnič organiseert een internationale online competitie voor beginners (schooljeugd). Zie hieronder de uitnodiging. Ook als de komende data niet passen, maar u wel geïnteresseerd bent, neem dan contact op. Het is de bedoeling een vervolg te geven aan onderstaande competities.
TRAIN YOUR BRAIN – TEAM CHESS BATTLE
Organiser: Primary school Smarje – Sap from Municipality Grosuplje (www.osss.si) and Chess Club En Passant Grosuplje (www.velemojstrica.si)
This is a friendly chess battle between schools and clubs. With this tournament, we aim to give children the opportunity to play chess with children from other countries, to build international friendships, creating awareness of other cultures and to motivate them to explore their possibilities.
Teachers and trainers can use this opportunity to build new partnerships and to share their knowledge.
Where: lichess.org/
System of play: Team battle (unlimited number of players, the best 6 players count for the team results.
Time control: 10 min + 5 seconds per move
Duration: 90 minutes
Who can compete: Children under 18 years old or who are in primary or high school.
Strength of competition: Beginners.
Entry fee: free
Dates and times:
- Wednesday 16 November at 10.30 (max 9 years old)
- Wednesday 16 November at 12.30 (max 17 years old)
- Tuesday 22 November at 17.30 (max 17 years old)
PLEASE NOTE: ALL PLAYERS – IN ALL THREE EVENTS – ARE BEGINNERS
How to apply:
Teachers/Trainers should create a team on Lichess and send the name of the team to ana.srebrnic@gmail.com or +38631376897 (available on Viber and Whatsapp).
Players who are part of that team will be able to apply. If a player wishes to play and does not have a team, he/she can play in the mixed team.
